I found out about some interesting tracks and pathways missing in OSM during our geocaching trips and I started investigating ways of adding my local knowledge to OSM for future generations.

I use JOSM, since it seems to be the most advanced among OSM editors. I’m still struggling with OSM, though, as it’s not 100% perfectly documented.
