The question is: what is the difference between historic, man_made and memorial tags. If I tagged it historic back then, that was most likely the best Tag that I thought based by on the ground observation. But as pointed out e.g. here https://arxiv.org/abs/2306.04752 another tagging might also be appropriate

ah now we are talking ;-). Im gleichen changeset war nämlich tatsächlich ein Wegkreiuz in einem Mühlenweg. Das ist so ne Art Minikapelle. Zu klein zum reingehen. Aber es ist auch kein Bildstock. Dafür ist es zu groß. Wenn man jetzt das wayside_shrine so auslegt, wie man es in Asien auslegen würde, würd ichs durchegehn lassen. Aber schaus Dir am besten selber mal kurz an, wenn Du in der Nähe bist.

Servus, das Kreuz ist in der Mitte des Hauses befestigt. Ein Name ist mir nicht bekannt.

Servus Manuel, ne ich hatte nur auf basis des formats das materal tag gesetzt und lat/lot tagging entfernt wie im Changelog angegeben. Es kann durchaus sein, dass das Kreuz nicht mehr existiert. Aber eigentlich würde ich eher vermutetn, dass der Stein versetzt wurde, da es ja vermutlich sogar im Denkmalregister geführt wird. Bei Gelegenheit kann ich die Gegend mal abradeln, da scheinen eh viele Wegkreuze zu fehlen. BG Morray

I'm aware of that difference and also think that the diaper tag is not optimal, but that's what seems to be more accepted by the community. If you think otherwise, change it back. I personally think that uniformity is better for the usage of the data, but I will respect that you prefer your own tag for that aiport. Just one more hint, there is also the barely used and imho also a bit misleading but at least documented tag toilets:changing_table=yes/no

Hi Jan, das ist ne schwierige Frage. Ich gehe gerade systematisch durch healthcare und assoziierte tags durch. Und genaugenommen gibt es drei verbreitete Taggingshemata:
* healthcare=p...
* healthcare:speciality =p...
* healthcare:speciality:p... = yes

Das letzte tagging ist besonders dann vorteilhaft wenn mehrere specialities an einem Arzt hängen. Insgesamt gibt es momentan aber noch hunderte eindeutige Falschschreibungen und 1000+ mutmaßliche. Daher bin ich gerade erstmal daran auf eine der drei Standardvariante zu kommen. Bei minimalen umtaggen. Wobei mir die obige als am zukunftssichersten vorkommt. Wenn das durch ist, kam man breiter diskutieren ob man die anderen auch umtaggen sollte.

Ich verstehe das ebenso. Und laut taginfo haben auch nur 3 User das description Tag benutzt. Und einer davon wäre ich. Daher schlage ich vor umtaggen und das andere dokumentieren. Wird ohnehin 100 mal häufiger benutzt

Servus, stimmt der eine Tag ist irgendwie hops gegangen. sorry. Zum description vs. speciality. Ich finde description logischer, aber du hast natürlich recht, dass speciality:de noch häufiger genutzt wird. Feel free to retag ;)
