StreetComplete EE asks me what ovetall colour this shelter has.

Should I say "brown" because the non-transparent elements are brown, or "transparent" because it is mostly glass?

Check locally if this really should be the case; if yes maybe add an appropriate 'note'-tag, otherwise connect (and add barrier and access restriction if present).

Here are three individual nodes "barrier=bollard". None of them is on the way that seemes that should be barriered.
