There has been unofficial, trails in this area for a while, and I have removed them before on the map. The park has signed the trail as closed and posted that it is not permitted to go on these former trails. The park has put logs and leaves over the trail to remove them, and so they no longer exist. So to clarify these trails essentially no longer exist, and are actively being removed. They currently sort-of exist, as people still walk them without permission, but they should be removed from the map. I volunteer with the park, and they asked me if I could remove the trails from online maps, which encourage their continued use.
