Part of the ‘prominence’ issue with pedestrian areas is that we don’t usually tag the full area of vehicular streets, so it doesn’t appear in the same way the walkways do. Washington DC, more than other US cities, has areas of pavement closed to vehicular traffic, areas not usable in any routing but still there.

The stub motorway in the Franklin-Mulberry corridor you have tagged as disused:highway=motorway. Although this has been closed temporarily on a few occasions, it is still (for now) very much in use.

I wouldn't suspect any of these are actually real....

I would expect a Papa John's to be tagged on a node or building, but not an area with admin_level=8.

What exactly is this?
