Landlord Credit Bureau was founded in 2012 with the goal of helping landlords, property managers, and tenants improve their companies and lives. The founders were frustrated by their own experiences and saw that the relationship between landlords and tenants needed to improve. Landlord Credit Bureau is now focusing on improving revenue for landlords, rewarding responsible tenants, and lowering risk for both landlords and tenants.

The sophisticated reporting platform of Landlord Credit Bureau enables landlords to drive and reward responsible tenant behavior. Tenants can improve their credit by using their largest monthly spend to construct a solid rental record.

Responsible tenants may stand out and enhance their credit by using the Tenant Database, which comes with persuasion features like monthly credit reports. In order to maintain accountability, less desired behavior such as late payments, debts owed, or property damage can now be reported.

Landlord Credit Bureau was founded by a retired RCMP officer who specialized in fraud prevention and a former corporate lawyer turned technology entrepreneur. It complies with, and in certain cases has sought to exceed, the protection criteria set forth by governing legislation. In Canada and the United States, Landlord Credit Bureau maintains a Reporting Agency that benefits both landlords and tenants.
