"Kalaeloa Heritage Park (KHP) is a State of Hawai’i-owned park run by volunteers to survey, locate, mark, and improve access to education of sensitive or Native Hawaiian cultural sites. A community-based research project (CBRP) is being collaborated on by KHP and partnered University of Hawai’i West O’ahu (Department of Social Sciences and Anthropology) archaeology field school. This park is Indigenous-owned and LGBTQ+ friendly. "
