There is a oxbow lake here formed when bayou macon was dredged to join. The lake is called Crocket Point Lake. The lake roughly follows the parish line and runs along loop road.

There is a grocery, and bar here. They cook steaks and baked potatos outside every Thursday night behind the bar. All buildings are painted red.
