Hi Jan,
thanks for your fast reply. Would be interesting to contact the reporting people about passing the bridge/river by foot. The original report is not really rich, It is even not clear where they got the information.

I have added a link to the original report to the OSM comment. As the brigde seems to be named "Puente Muri" I tried to lookup information about its current state in the internet but failed.

Hi Jan,
three month ago you changed this bridge to be in contruction. On which source of information is this change based? How long will the construction status last? You added also the bridge is not usable by motor cars. Does this mean pedestrians, cyclists and horses can pass?

I am going to need this bridge in August for my next vacancy in Peru. Can you help me out?

thanks for this infomation, I was wondering about whether I got no response at all. Anyhow there are tons of errors and I would recommend to the professor to apply at least a minimum of quality control. I have fixed dozens of errors my self meanwhile but it is also no big issue to write my changset comments in spanish if this would help or educate the editors.

Painting nice maps is not the only target of OSM, communication is an essential part of a community project as well.
