The waymarked walking route follows the edge of the marshes parallel to Ferry Lane South then parallel to Coldharbour Lane before turning west across a footbridge and passing through the grass strip between K9 Industrial estate and Easter Industrial Park to reach the path south along the bank of the River Thames.
