Mapped areas are only the ones I have knowledge about and/or actually visited. Occasionally add interesting POI outside the place I visited.

Mainly Kota Malang and Kabupaten Malang.

Example of area I have fully or partially fixed:

I usually mass delete any building made by HOTOSM on densely populated settlements, and start building mapping from scratch, as it will be easier and faster.

New tag I made (no universal approval):

  • building=shophouse
self-explanation, for ruko building across Indonesia and shophouse common in SEA)
  • sharia=* (yes/no)
For hotels or other accomodation that follows sharia laws, example: male and female pairings without marriage certificate are barred from access. Usually, all sharia accomodation have labels on them.
  • bpjs=* (yes/no)
Indicate a healthcare system that accepts Indonesian BPJS universal health care.
    more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BPJS_Kesehatan
    Maybe insurance=bpjs is more appropriate?

These wiki guidance for Indonesia seems not properly updated,
and even contradict with each other…
