Astronomy and astrophysics enthusiast, focused on exoplanets and cosmology.
Passionate about digital technologies such as free/libre and open-source apps, sysadmin, cybersecurity, and digital privacy.
Believed in freedom, peace, and joy of life.
Loving science-fiction UI seen in cinema and curious about if something different than Windows exists, I discovered Ubuntu and free culture movement in 2010 and began testing some GNU/Linux distributions. In 2015, I definitely freed myself from Windows by migrating to Ubuntu and Voyager OS from 2015 to 2018, and then I switched to Manjaro for a long time until 2025. Today, I mainly switched to Linux Mint and I use Fedora, Ubuntu, and PrimTux for kids alongside too.
I used proprietary services on smartphone on Android from 2014 to 2025. Because I relied too much to Big Tech companies by giving up my personal data and shocked in 2025 by discovering unwanted AI boom and garbage which stole people’s mindsets, artists’ intellectual works, and increasingly use energy and hardware, I want to free myself from all of that. So, at the end of 2025, I began testing de-googled Android, and in 2026, I’m planning to migrate definitely to /e/OS to achieve digital freedom and privacy.
I will start to financially support FOSS/FLOSS and free common projects I love (Framasoft, La Contre-Voie, OpenStreetMap, Pepper&Carrot, etc…).
Applications I use for OSM editing:
- CoMaps for Android for notes and links,
- Gnome Maps for links,
- JOSM for map editing on Ubuntu.
