I’m a recreational cyclist who uses OSM-based maps on my GPS cyclecomputer. So I feel a duty to improve OSM when I cycle roads that aren’t on it, and when I encounter amenities that might interest other cyclists (like public toilets), using my GPS traces. I was in France from Sept. 2011 through June 2012. While on lockdown in New Zealand from March through May in Lake Tekapo, I updated and added local trails. These days I am mostly updating hiking trails and new roads in western Massachusetts.
