The road might be closed approximately here according to the information posted at 49° 14′ 53,73″ N, 124° 53′ 46,39″ W⁩, which says "South Taylor Main closed beginning August 25th 2025 from km 11 to km 12.5".
I just saw this information and did not check if the road is actually closed.

Herr is a footapath missing connecting the Gent site with the path running parallel to the Beach.
