Hey, thanks for adding this info. OpenStreetMap has tagging standards that need to be followed in order for the information to be understandable. For example "Tel No" is not a standard tag. I cleaned up your listing so that it matches standard OSM tags.

Thanks for grabbing a GPS trace of the trail and making it more accurate! Looks great.

Hey, I'm glad you chose to contribute to the map, but one of the principals of OpenStreetMap is that we only map things that are visible on the ground. Property lines aren't one of those things, and mapping them with a foot path definitely isn't a best practice.

I removed the path from the map, and wanted to let you know why.

Hey, thanks for adding this POI, but in the process you deleted some nodes that made bad changes to the shape of the building. Be a little more careful next time, OK?

Thanks for adding this street! I changed the road type slightly, but we really appreciate your contribution.

Hi! Thanks for added detail in the area. Nice work!

Just a small piece of feedback for you. When a stream crosses a road, you probably don't want to tag that as a ford. A ford is for where the stream is running across the road (ford=*?uselang=en-US), whereas these are probably all culverts, in which case you would split out the section of the stream that passes through the culvert and tag it with tunnel=culvert.

Hey, the two lake objects you added in this changeset are redundant. Lake Michigan is already mapped, and so is Crystal Lake. I'm going to go ahead and delete the extra bodies of water you added, but I wanted to give you a heads up.

Hey, are you sure about the business you added here? I'm pretty sure Crafthouse is closed for business, and in any case they were on Union, not Cass.

Should this POI stick around, or should one of us delete it?

Hi! Thanks for adding this info the map. FYI, I'm not familiar with OsmAnd, but the way you added this address to Meijer wasn't quite correct. The address should be broken up into individual components, not combined into one field. The number goes in one field, the street name in another, etc. I'll fix this one, just wanted to let you know about this issue!

Hi! I'm assuming from the name, that the bike shop you added here doesn't really exist, so I'm going to delete it from the map. Please let me know if this is the wrong move.

FYI when you're adding items to OpenStreetMap, you're adding them to the real map, that lots of people use, so please refrain from adding locations that don't really exist.

Hey Mark! Thanks for adding this, but are you sure it's in the right spot? You gave the address as 223 E State St but put the location on the 100 block.

Are you sure this is a roundabout? It's a circular road, but that doesn't necessarily make it a roundabout. I'd be surprised if this actually was.

FYI: This road (Elizabeth St) doesn't connect through to Mitchell Street anymore. Look at the Bing or DigitalGlobe Premium imagery to confirm this. The change made in this changeset needs to be un-done.

Hey! It's good to see the new buildings you've added. Just an FYI that the Mapbox Satellite layer has pretty old imagery in the Traverse City Area, so it's out of date in a few areas (for example, along Randolph). Some of the other layers have more recent imagery, although it's not as easy to trace, and you have to be careful to shift the imagery so it lines up properly.

Hi! Welcome to OpenStreetMap, and thanks for your contributions!

FYI, best practices for areas (like parks) is not to extend them out to the neighboring roads. For one thing, it can make the road and the park itself harder to edit in the future. More importantly, it's not really accurate to say that the park extends all the way to the centerline of the road.

In a little while I'll go in and update American Legion Park, unless you want to do it yourself.

Thanks again for contributing!

Hey! Welcome to OSM and thanks very much for your contributions. Just as an FYI, it's not necessary to confirm oneway=no in situations where two-way traffic is the default (i.e. most roads/paths/etc). Definitely not a problem to do it, I just wouldn't go out of my way to make that kind of edit.

Thanks again for the edits!
