Although my profile shows me as having joined the site in 2007, I had no GPS hardware at that time, and there was no nearby GPS data to start working from… I only really started contributing in June 2011 after I “rediscovered” the OSM project after noticing that although map coverage was generally better, it still didn’t show the new part of the High Street, and realised “I can fix that!”.

I had a good spurt of editing stuff after that, but it kind-of fell by the wayside, and I’m not even sure where the last few sets of photos and GPS traces ready to add on to my 2011 editing spurt ended up… I guess they’ll be mostly outdated by now anyway :(

Going forward from 2013, I’m more likely to be doing odd bits of tweaking, probably using my android-based phone, rather than massive offline editing sessions as I’d done before… but I might yet surprise myself!

Home location is in Madeley, Telford. For purposes of public display, I live in the middle of the roundabout and sleep perched on top of the lamp post in the middle of it.
