I appreciate that you as a Maproulette helper should expect to take the task only at face value. I would too. However, given this instance, would be great if you just peruse the history of an object you are changing to see if your edit makes sense. This object has changes from survey with descriptive changeset comments that could have given you pause about the validity of the requested edit. Cheers :)

Hi andrew_dc - seems the first comment was generated by the revert script. I am keen to find out how these tasks based on outdated data get into Maproulette. Do you have a Task ID for this one? These kinds of errors seem common, and I advise against blindly trusting the data Maproulette is based on, and/or possibly doing a little investigation of recent edits and contacting editors before making such edits. Traffic signal nodes 31901110 and 31246923 at the corner of Brougham Street and Waltham Road have source attributes that are broken Google Drive links. There may be others in this very large changeset. What does/did the source tag URL value refer to?

However you should probably add a source tag. I am still doubtful about this as a "name" (LINZ isn't perfect) and will check out the signage very soon since it is near my house.

I reverted this changeset because the layer tag was correct. The sections of road are actually below the adjacent road. You cannot determine this from imagery. Please do not make these changes from imagery alone when the source is "survey" or "observation", meaning that the edit is based on being on the ground.

If in doubt about a tag or an edit made on the ground, please either add a note to the map, or add a comment to the changeset.

These comments are automatic from the revert tool. Can you be more specific about which geometries and glued polygons you are talking about here? I will take a look.

If you are specific and detailed in your original changeset comments then I am less likely to revert changes.

I appreciate the changes to align geometry but it is my intention to align everything as I update the map in this area over the next few months.

What's your source for this name? This sounds more like a sign pointing to where the marina is accessed rather than a name.
