I understand you have a lack of trust in our data, but we assure you we will not be adding trails that do not exist as that goes against our entire mission. We have been made aware of these errors and as discussed previously to a great extent, much of these data are older tracks that need updating and we will not be using data that is not accurate and that we have not confirmed with multiple sources; on the ground knowledge being one of them. As mentioned in the forum as well, local knowledge is a core principle of OSM and should be used where Strava is lacking.
There needs to be trust in those who are physically using and maintaining these trails, especially as local knowledge is a key source for OSM.

Our data has in fact proven to be reliable as we told you we physically built and tracked the Pawmaste trail and sure enough, as snow melts and people start using trails more, the Strava heat is showing up right on our track. There are sections of our data where we were not the ones to track and are outdated as we have mentioned and will take care when making edits to areas we have not been physically to check.

In this case, I have been to the trail and know from first hand experience it is not well maintained or easily identifiable. I would suggest instead of a fixme tag that the note= tag would be suitable as it can be mentioned this trail is hard to see and not well maintained but is accessible.

This is a real trail accessible to the public. I have personally used this trail. I know from on the ground knowledge this trail is not as well maintained as nearby trails due to lack of use. It is not well known or popular, but it is there.
