I am a retired Dane with a second home in Turkey. Is currently primarily interested in tracking and making maps of the Gazipaşa district. Still looking for good and easy ways to make printed maps. I DO have my map hanging at the wall at the local mayor’s office. Proud carrier of the title amca (uncle) from the Turkish OSM community.

In addition I collect house names, particularly in the vicinity of Hundested, Denmark.

Collecting official names for all sorts of things, but mostly natural features like peaks, rivers, valleys, fjords, and islands for Greenland. Working with the local place name authority to get things marked with the full set of official names (normally local, local old spelling, and danish). Thus future mappers can assign them to the objects as they get outlined. Main challenge is that all can only be collected as points with approximate coordinates.
