You are right about the name—deleting it was a mistake on my part, and I have already restored it.
As for the ref tag, I removed it based on the OSM Wiki (Key:ref). For bus stops, this tag is meant only for the official stop ID assigned to that specific stop.
Also, from what I can see on the map, the actual "transit center" is a large station located nearby.
