The bridge is not a extension of McDonald Dam Road. McDonald Dam Road ends earlier than here. There are also smaller expansions and some trails beyond this bridge and on the creek area near the launch.

Not very many sources show this triangular region (ncuncuni constituency) as part of kavango east, but rather as part of kavango west. Some also show the border even further north, making the shape less triangular and something closer to a left or right trapezoid on its head
