I think this was a good move for K street because H street connects to Florida Avenue and Benning Road whereas K street is a collector road. Unlike 14th street and 16th street where they are more important in different places(north of U street for 16th/south of U street for 14th) Having K street as secondary is better, knowing after being a US 29 main road, wasn't really significant after Mount Vernon square and was only a collector. This was a right move.

Also 16th street is more important north of U Street and 14th street is more important south of U street because of connections. 16th street connects to MD 390 in north to connect Georgia Avenue and 14th street connects to US 1 in Southwest DC and Virginia. U street transfers power from 14th and 16th streets.

16th street is more important from up U street. South of U street, 14th street is just as important, even slightly more because 14th street has more capacity and worse traffic. It is a bustling commercial hub while 16th street has a busway, which reduces capacity and traffic, as well as less commercial space other than some hotels and shops. so yes, 16th street is more important, but 14th is just as important down U street.

That is a good point. You could have a county/secondary state/farm road that acts like a primary highway or could be a major arterial/county parkway/etc it would be at least primary but if it's a US route that is a dead end, it would be secondary unless there is a linking for primary and higher. River Road can link back to Gaithersburg through MD 112. Primary should have been placed earlier to avoid inconsistencies with the map placement and placement of classifications

I would say yes to an extent. Numbered roads are also a factor in OSM because traditionally, a Interstate(motorway) is more important than a US Route(primary or higher), more important to a primary state route(secondary or higher), more important than a county, secondary state, or farm route(tertiary or higher), more than an unnumbered road(minor or higher). Also River Road and Seneca Road come back to I-270 between Rockville and Gaithersburg

Also I extended the primary route to river and Seneca because they are both state routes and connect back to the north suburbs of dc. I would have made them secondary but that would have made the map inconsistent

I would say to only extend the trunk part to VA 267 from US 50 on LCP but revert the part north of VA 267 to primary

I would actually keep that secondary this time, tit only connects the edge or Reston to the edge of Vienna/Fairfax. It is not a direct route unlike Old Ox Road which goes from Reston to Fairfax. Also if LCP is primary, SR 674 is secondary because it only has a couple of commercial/office areas each at the end/side of the street. Just my opinion

I think LCP should be trunk though. It is the most important secondary state route in Loudoun County, even though there are roads like VA 7(part motorway), VA 28 and 267(both motorways), and US 50(John Mosby Highway) but LCP has more importance than roads like SR 621(evergreen mills), SR 659(belmont ridge), and even SR 606(Old Ox) even though that one might be controversial. LCP doesn't isn't close to being as parallel as US 29(Lee Highway) with I-66 for VA 28, but I do get your point. Still think this should be trunk even though it isn't as important as FCP or PWP

I definitely get your point, I think the trunk route should only lead to Waxpool Road and then downgrade to secondary at VA 28. But I would put LCP over Old Ox Road in importance, but isn't as important as FCP or PWP.

I think it should still remain trunk for 2 reasons:

1: It is a short motorway
2. It is a US Route and has a high importance, knowing that that is when I-66 starts being/ends a toll route

It should be just downgraded to trunk. It is a road with highway-style entrances.

It does. I think that instead of changing it entirely to secondary classification, I would revert it to Goldboro Road that connects to River Road because that's a collector that goes from River Road to Wisconsin Avenue and passes into Downtown Bethesda.

Also Gallows Road was upgraded from secondary to primary mainly because of the route it has with Tysons to Merrifield but lacks an exit, however it does have 90-95% the importance that US 29/US 50 have mainly because of the connections yet only being a secondary state route, it does take it into consideration.
