Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager in the Greater Denver Area, overseeing commercial projects from pre-construction planning through final closeout. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. This credential reflects his ability to lead and complete complex construction efforts using structured and repeatable methods. With a strong foundation in fieldwork and formal project planning, he brings practical knowledge and a results-focused mindset to every building process phase.

His early exposure to construction came through working in his family’s business, which focused on building custom residential homes. The company used Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) systems, a method known for supporting environmentally friendly and durable structures. That experience influenced his long-term commitment to sustainability, a theme throughout his professional work. ICF buildings are energy-efficient, and offer increased resistance to fire, rot, pests, and natural disasters—qualities that continue to guide his approach to modern construction.

He began his career in commercial construction after completing multiple internships with a leading construction group. His first full-time role was as a Project Engineer, followed by an Assistant Project Manager position at a respected general contractor in Colorado. In this role, he manages subcontractor agreements, builds relationships with project owners, and ensures smooth coordination among all parties involved. He always focuses on delivering value and keeping projects on schedule and within scope.

In addition to his traditional project management background, he is certified in Agile practices. This training allows him to divide considerable construction efforts into smaller, manageable parts, creating flexibility and incorporating real-time feedback. He applies this approach to address challenges like material delays, cost fluctuations, and labor shortages, ensuring that teams can adapt without sacrificing quality or timelines.

He spent part of his childhood in Hawaii, developing a lasting respect for nature. Later, he attended high school in Colorado, where he was a four-year varsity tennis player and a three-time qualifier for regional and state championships. He began college as a Civil Engineering student before transferring to Colorado State University, where he completed his degree with a 3.78 GPA and earned recognition through membership in the Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society and consistent placement on the Dean’s List.

While in college, he completed internships that included work on significant projects such as Market Station, RidgeGate Campus, and the restoration of the U.S. Capitol Building. The latter experience remains one of his most memorable, given the importance of preserving a historic structure. After graduation, he worked on the National Western Center Campus Energy project, which included North America’s most extensive sewer-heat recovery system. His performance led to a position as a Construction Estimator, where he analyzed subcontractor bids and proposal documents. In 2022, he became an Assistant Project Manager, taking on greater responsibility for procurement and subcontractor oversight, particularly on projects like the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.

He enjoys staying active and connected to nature outside his professional work. He has climbed several of Colorado’s 14ers, hiked across multiple states, and supported conservation through his involvement with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. His interests also include Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, boxing, skiing, weightlifting, and exploring history through travel.

Victor Sheverda continues to apply his growing experience, technical skills, and environmental values to every construction project he leads, with a clear focus on long-term impact and professional excellence.
