Hello jmapb, These changeset comments come from map roulette projects where features causing warnings or errors are queried for a potential fix. At second look I do see the shortcoming on this update and will revert the changeset to its prior state. Thanks for reaching out to me to make this right and I welcome any further collaboration on improving OSM.
