These new sidewalks along Paula Drive were reconstructed from basic ground imagery I took. This is mostly topological and "good enough" geometrically, as without updated aerial imagery, capturing minutiae in physical space like tiny bends is either a fool's errand or a really competent person's errand – and I'm neither. Might revisit soon, as some of this was still under construction when I visited. Also didn't explore much beyond Paula Drive in case there was construction elsewhere, but I assumed this is where it'd be focused.

IDOT shows construction here but does not show a road closure. However, in-person survey a week ago showed these were physically closed, and the IDOT map seems to be frequently missing information. Tagging closed and using construction end date from the IDOT map tentatively (probably not correct for closure, but conservative). Will need another survey; just driving by will work.

A survey would be really helpful for the surrounding basin and for the amenities in the park. It's set to officially open July 27th, but it's already complete and available to the public. An overhead render exists to potentially inform the surveyor, but the geometry is complex enough (and the area I drew a rough enough estimate) that trying to place amenities and landuse without a survey would likely be worse than nothing.

This facility has been substantially updated. It will need an update for two missing parking lots, a newly paved driveway, a missing building (over the old southern parking lot), and an expanded building when aerial imagery refreshes.
