Hello there! I mostly try resolving notes in the circle/area between:

• Cologne
• Bonn
• Koblenz
• Eifel (up to the border to Rhineland-Palatinate)
• Belgian border
• Düren

and am based here.

I once discovered that a lot of notes were open for years and nobody took care of it, despite the fact that many of them were very simple to solve or already fixed/outdated. Besides mapping some things here and there, I therefore shifted my main focus to solving these notes and stay on top of things regularly so that so many new notes don’t ever pile up in the first place.

I mostly map by car (I have a dashcam) and can quickly drive to locations if needed.

My main language is English but I can translate to german if needed because i map in Germany.

Due to some negative experiences with other people here, I dislike know-it-all comments from other mappers and unnecessary discussions. Valid feedback if something is wrong is OK. But if something about my work bothers you, please just correct or improve it yourself and don’t start any unnecessary (fundamental) discussions with me. I just want to map on my own and am not here for social talk, more for the technical part (I know that OSM is a community project and I will definitely answer changeset comments, but I am not here for the social part like the forum - I am a “silent” mapper). Please don’t reopen notes – in general (if I solved them I must have had a valid reason to solve it, please first ask in the changeset) – and for general discussions, you can always leave a changeset comment instead. Please also don’t stalk or monitor me (I got that feeling recently with some mappers!)—instead, focus on improving your own mapping area. I want to help OSM grow and actually get things done, and I try to stick to the OSM Wiki or the templates in the editor as much as possible! But I dislike people who just find fault with everything, wanna get involved everywhere, but don’t contribute anything productive. Please invest your precious private time into mapping, not discussing. Sorry… I know I can not set my own rules in a community project but I would appreciate if you read and think about it. Thanks!
