Stanley Kleinman, also recognized as Yisroel Kleinman, is an esteemed Rabbi, educator, and community leader based in Brooklyn, NY. He commenced teaching in 1983 at Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, NY, dedicating four decades to educating young minds until 2023. He currently imparts his knowledge at Lifeprep Education, joining the institution in 2022. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as a Choir Director and has been a vital emergency responder trainer for the Hatzalah Volunteer Rescue Squad in Brooklyn since 1988.

He has initiated and led significant educational and community projects, such as the founding of Oorah the One summer camps, which have profoundly impacted youth development and community cohesion. His exceptional educational commitment has garnered him multiple awards, including the Darchei Torah Teacher of the Year and the Joseph S. and Caroline Gruss Excellent Teachers Award.

Regarding community involvement, he has held various leadership positions, notably as President of Cong. Agudath Israel of Midwood in 1994 and currently as Gabbai. He has been pivotal in founding and coordinating Hatzolah of Richmond County since 1984 and has contributed significantly to the governance and Rabbinical Oversight of Hatzolah of Flatbush since 1987.

Additionally, he is actively engaged in grief counseling and public speaking, offering comfort and sharing valuable insights with the community. He remains a committed member of the Alumni Association of Yeshiva of Staten Island and was part of the Agudath Israel of America’s Va’ad Hanholah from 1996 to 2006.

Stanley Kleinman’s expertise in teaching, administration, public relations, program development, and community outreach, combined with his passion for music and spirituality as a Choir Director, establish him as a central figure in his community.
