bot=yes is mentioned in that page under section "Execute with caution" in the 6th bullet point.

In my understanding the wiki page for bots is necessary if the bot is fully automated. I nevertheless just create a wiki page (osm.wiki/SearchAroundBot) and added it to the list of other (fully automated) bots (osm.wiki/Bot).
This information is now inserted in the note tag of the nodes created by the bot and in the changeset comment together with my email address (kercos@gmail.com).

Please let me know if there is any additional information i should provide.

This edit was done by a user via a Telegram bot (SearchAroundBot) which enables people to insert new locations such as amenity=drinking_water and amenity=toilets in OSM.

The bot has been recently created and can certainly be improved. Please let me know which additional information i should provide when inserting a new node.
