The N2 from the bridge over the Knysna River, locally called the "White Bridge", to the traffic lights at the junction with Waterfront Drive is not a divided road.

Some of this road is two lane wide only - one lane for each direction of travel - and some is four lane - two lanes in each direction of travel.

Also there is a new separate cycle track/walking path along the whole lagoon side of this section of road.
