In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Austin Transportation has temporarily closed the following street segments to motor vehicle travel:
Riverside Drive (all lanes from Lee Barton Drive to South First Street)
Pleasant Valley Road (one southbound lane of the Longhorn Dam bridge)
These closures enable those making essential trips by walking, biking or scooting to travel through the Butler Hike and Bike Trail and nearby parks more safely. The measure, which closes the segments to vehicular traffic, will reduce close contact of park users, as well as large concentrations of people on adjacent sidewalks and paths.  Temporary tags access=yes, cycleway=shared_lane and motor_vehicle=no has been added to Greenough Boulevard (Little Greenough) between Arsenal Street and North Beacon Street in the Town of Watertown in accordance with Massachusetts State Parks COVID-19 Update and will be removed once the City of Boston has lifted these restrictions.
