Hi zstadler,

as I pointed out in a private mail too, this dispute can be seen as settled as there had not been edit wars for a long time and as the actual dispute is not visible anymore due to the license change back then (version 22-39 are missing). Due to the huge amount of name:xx tags, the note tag is not even visible to most. Btw, the actual "violation" of the resolution was done by the Redaction Bot, so there's not really anyone to blame for that. And as the Hebrew name was the value of choice for a long time *before* the dispute, I thought we could keep that name.

And imho we should keep it as is, taking the dispute as settled. If you think otherwise I'd suggest we start a post on the forum to discuss what the local community considers the best way to go.

Hi,

I have reverted the data, as the data came from an unknown source. Your changesets state that the information is from knowledge/survey, while that's clearly not correct. It contains a huge number of arbitrary tags, information that's not useful (e.g. Shape_Area) and has an accuracy that does not make much sense (10 orders below m²). I.e. this is clearly an import of data.

While we don't reject imported data in general, we have import guidelines (osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines) that have to be followed for a reason. The two most important ones for your case are: It is not clear that the license of your imported data is compatible with OSM and the import is of poor quality.

So please reach out to your local community, discuss your plans, go to the talk and import mailing lists to further discuss your plans and adhere to the import guidelines if you still want to get your data into OSM.

I hope that explains the problem with your import.
