In 1994, Paul Daugerdas transitioned to Altheimer & Gray, taking on the role of Head of the Tax Department and serving on the Steering Committee. He later joined the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist as a Shareholder/Partner from 1999 to 2002, where he managed the Chicago office and co-directed the Tax Practice. His role included being a member of the Management Advisory Committee.

In 2003, he embarked on a new venture as a consultant and managing director at Treasurex Financial, where he provided his expertise until 2014.

Paul’s commitment extends beyond professional achievements to impactful charitable work. He notably served as the Chairman and President of The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois in 2002 and 2003. He also took on roles such as Board Member, Treasurer, Finance Committee Member, and Wish Granter from 1996 to 2008. His philanthropic efforts are not limited to the Make-A-Wish Foundation; he has supported various charities, including museums and civic organizations, since the mid-1970s.

In his personal life, Daugerdas has a deep-seated passion for reading, a hobby he cultivated during his grammar school years. His wide-ranging interests include philosophy, religion, and theology, leading him to commence a theology degree program in Milan.
