As part of a pavement project on US-169, the following areas can expect significant delays, especially during peak travel times.
The right lane of southbound US-169 is closed between the I-44 junction and 31st St. South until further notice.
The southbound US-169 on and off ramps at 31st St. South are closed until further notice.

-40 Crosstown repairs delayed until 9 a.m. Wednesday

Due to freezing temperatures today, which are forecast to continue through tonight, work by OG&E to repair the I-40 Crosstown near Shields Blvd. will be delayed until 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3. While the interstate can remain open to traffic during this work, there will be lane and ramp closures that will cause significant traffic delays during an up to three-week period through January, weather permitting. Drivers are urged to plan an alternate route, such as I-44, I-35 or I-240 during this time.

Work is weather permitting, and the following impacts can be expected:

Eastbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between Western Ave. (mm 149) and the I-35/I-235 Dallas Junction (mm 151B) from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, through 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4. After 6 a.m. Jan. 4, this area will be narrowed to two lanes through late January.
The eastbound I-40 off-ramp to Shields Blvd. (mm 150B) will be closed from 9 a.m. Jan. 3 to 6 a.m. Jan. 4.
The eastbound I-40 on-ramp from Shields Blvd. will be closed from 9 a.m. Jan. 3 through late January.
Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between the I-35/I-235 Dallas Jct. (mm 151B) and Western Ave. (mm 149) from 9 a.m. Jan. 4 to 6 a.m. Jan. 5. After 6 a.m. Jan. 5, this area will be narrowed to two lanes through late January.
The northbound I-235 off-ramp to westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane from 9 a.m. Jan. 4 through late January.
The southbound I-235 off-ramp to westbound I-40 will be closed from 9 a.m. Jan. 4 through late January.
The westbound I-40 off-ramp to Robinson Ave. will be closed from 9 a.m. Jan. 4 through late January.
