The administrative structure of the country (RD Congo) is as follows:
- the country is divided into 26 provinces, including the city-province of Kinshasa ;
--- the 25 provinces outside Kinshasa are divided into towns and territories;
----- the 35 cities are divided into 137 urban communes;
----- the 145 territories are divided into 174 rural communes, 471 sectors and 264 chiefdoms;
--------- sectors and chiefdoms are divided into 5908 groupings;
--- the city-province of Kinshasa is divided into 24 communes, with 21 groupements.
