My name is Okecha Patrick, a 24-year-old Ugandan and a student at Makerere University, where i am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying and Geomatics. I am focused and determined individual with a growing passion for understanding the physical environment and how land is measured, planned, and managed. During my studies, i have developed interests in geospatial work where I have gained hands-on experience in mapping, digitizing spatial data, and using tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I have enjoyed the practical side of this field, especially working with maps and translating real-world features into accurate digital representations. Beyond academics, I value personal growth and long-term goals. Am committed to building a meaningful career that will allow me to contribute to better land management and planning in Uganda. My ambition is to use this knowledge and skills to support development, improve decision making, and create a positive impact in his community. Am currently single and focused on completing my degree and laying a strong foundation for my future, both professionally and personally.
