| 5070643 | artus70 | This whole kind-of village is actually a private Resort called "Dreams Madeira - Resort, Spa & Marina", surrounded by a fence and only accessible via the gates of the two roads leading into the area. The name "Quinta do Lorde" seems not to be used anymore?! Access for the public is only possible on the more western road which leads to the marina, whereas the shorter eastern road is only for private use (hotel guests etc.), the public is stopped by a gate keeper. I'm not sure what development has been going on here in the recent past. May please anyone with more knowledge have a look and verify or possibly change names etc. - thanks. |
