| 70893076 | over 6 years ago | i see you keep editing, but do not reply my request of explaining why you removed the tags and kept the element history. I ask you one more time to explain this changeset and the one you done today. |
| 70893076 | over 6 years ago | hello, can you explain why you deleted the original elements and removed the canal tag? |
| 70806275 | over 6 years ago | OSM good pratices mentions you should maintain the element history and more important, not destroy the relations. osm.wiki/Good_practice#Keep_the_history |
| 70819250 | over 6 years ago | thanks for replying. According to the wiki waterway=canal states "For small artificial waterways used for drainage see waterway=drain and waterway=ditch.", the levadas are not used for drainage, their usage is for irrigation. therefore this tag is correct. |
| 70204457 | over 6 years ago | hi Mike, thanks for replying, hope you enjoyed your hollidays. waterway=canal Wiki states "For small artificial waterways used for drainage see waterway=drain and waterway=ditch.", the levadas are not used for drainage, their usage is for irrigation. therefore this tag is correct. regarding the highway and the canal sharing the same element, makes sense as most of the walking elements are the structure of the canal itself. we have a few exceptions and some mappers draw the highway parallel to the canal, however doing this for 2000km of canals is something that takes time. cheers |
| 70806275 | over 6 years ago | again, on this edit you deleted the oldest element and done a new one. this is not the procedure in OpenstreetMap. Always maintain the oldest element. i hope you justify your edits before your next edit or i will start reverting these damage edits |
| 70819250 | over 6 years ago | im still waiting for your reply regarding your changeset from two days ago. also on this edit you added a levada as a ditch, a levada is a canal. |
| 70820788 | over 6 years ago | hello, can you explain why you added 4 drinking waters in such short distance? |
| 70824692 | over 6 years ago | hi Daniel, you removed the tag "canal" from the levada. can you please fix. thanks |
| 70692109 | over 6 years ago | Hugo, podes ver o Telegram sff. sobre este conjunto de alterações, continuo a pedir o fundamento para tal. Não me parece que isto faça sentido algum pelos exemplos que demonstrei no grupo do telegram |
| 70765189 | over 6 years ago | This is your edit https://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/way/693511862 |
| 70765189 | over 6 years ago | hello, can you explain why you deleted the history of the stream "Ribeira da Madalena"? that element was added several years ago and it vanished after your edit today.
Element history https://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/way/93126528 seems you moved the stream north as a small segment and redraw the element as a new one. Please explain your procedure. |

| 70630209 | over 6 years ago | and about me thinking that you called the map horrible. Here's two quotes from you stating so:
|
| 70630209 | over 6 years ago | again, you did not check the keys on those roads where you incorrectly added blocks, that do not exist. I'm not editing an incorrect edit, that makes no sense. You done more damage than good, i explained that and the lack of offset adjustment and all of a sudden, without reason you are playing the victim and accusing me of being xenophobic. Again, there's no such thing as "geometrical aberration". Respect local knowledge and stop being arrogant. |
| 70630209 | over 6 years ago | First of all, i didn't call you a noob. You need to respect local knowledge without taking for grant that you are a guru and start wrongly editing and adding incorrect data. I mentioned you did not align satellite imagery. And by your reaction i see you are aware of it, but none the less, decided to misalign the data. This is only satellite imagery, we do not have ortophotos from planes. There's no geometrical aberration on the data, only on the imagery. Actually there's is plenty of reference data to take. Again, thank you for classifying OpenStreetMap as "horrible". I have no issues with foreigners, you just seem to ditch local knowledge over arm-chair mapping, when its the other way around. |
| 70630209 | over 6 years ago | you need to calm down. i didn't erase, i reverted as explained on the previous changeset. As said on that changeset you misaligned the data, because you didn't align the satellite imagery offset. Your edits on Santana, which only the values were kept as the geometry were all misaligned have been added to OSM. |
