I share the opinion that this is controversial and thus should be discussed the same as every other mechanical edit before it is done. In the German wiki for amenity=fast_food (osm.wiki/DE:Tag:amenity%3Dfast_food) Pizza Hut is an explicit example for this tag. I don't want to enforce either of amenity=fast_food or amenity=restaurant, but I oppose the generalisation in this changeset as it completely ignores the decisions made by locals.

you changed node/3243072071 from amenity=fast_food to amenity=restaurant. Having a look at the wiki and including local knowledge, I think that amenity=fast_food was the correct tag.

Suspecting that this has been a mechanical edit, it would be appropriate to have a proper changeset comment (every edit somehow is an "update") and link the required discussion (see osm.wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct and osm.wiki/What%27s_the_problem_with_mechanical_edits%3F).

Please revert changes from amenity=fast_food to amenity=restaurant, if local knowledge hasn't been included.

Vielen Dank für deine Änderung. Wenn das Restaurant tatsächlich geschlossen ist, wäre es sinnvoller, die Node komplett zu entfernen oder den Tag amenity=restaurant durch disused:amenity=restaurant (siehe osm.wiki/DE:Lifecycle_prefix) zu ersetzen, anstatt es nur im Namen zu erwähnen. Dann würden Programme das Restaurant als Suchergebnis auch nicht mehr in Betracht ziehen.
