When taking Exit 49 towards NY 895, map instructions should be to merge right to take Exit 49. This is a 3 lane highway, autopilot / AV will attempt to merge from the left most lane and cut across two lanes to take this exit.

This road becomes a two lane overpass immediately after the exit sign, exit 49. When continuing towards Edgewater Road (right lane split), the GPS signals the merge to the right lane right before the overpass road splits, which is too late. The right lane change should happen immediately after you take the exit.

When merging onto the FDR heading into the Bronx, map instructs driver to take far most lane which leads you to Randall’s Island.

The exit to Edgewater Road is a right lane exit. The GPS maps still shows this a left lane exit.

There is no connection from Hunts Point Avenue to the Sheridan Boulevard from here. This was demolished as part of the Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project.
