This street continues and goes along the musée de Marrakech all the way to Riad Dar Lalla F'dila. It's visible on Microsoft Earth.

"This city gate seems to be significantly misplaced (should be at the beginning of rue sidi el yamani). And maybe it should be tagged as a city gate rather than a tourist sight, since it doesn't seem to be any standout particular place."
