I will be uploading a GPS track that shows the new path of the trail from this parking lot to the Catawba Creek bridge. The other bridge over Little Catawba Creek is closed.

The "Andy Layne Trail" parking lot here is now only useful for Catawba Valley Trail and North Mountain Trail hikers, as the segment of the Andy Layne Trail that ended here is now closed due to logging and mining.
