Sorry you posted right before I did.

So you are probably not aware, but a large portion of the OSM community considers microsoft/rapid footprints to be junk imports and it can admittedly be difficult to see on older/lower quality aerials. Often times, the footprint created by the database grossly misrepresents the actual building shape, commonly either simplifying the building and ignoring sections or converting multiple buildings into one shape. On top of this, the footprints tend to be randomly distributed away from the actual location, with even square buildings being the wrong rotation and distance away from any aerial. I'm assuming you might have been editing in sort of a "zen" fashion which partnered with a aerial like Bing can make it more difficult to spot the inaccuracies. I just happened to notice you had added some here(and plenty of others across Ohio) and just wanted to make sure you were aware of their potential harmful nature.

Is there a reason you're using Bing over the Ohio state aerial?

Please don't use Microsoft footprints when they clearly don't match at all.

Classic European forcing eurocentric spelling on us poor Americans.

Please stop using microsoft footprints, they are out of date

Why are you using a out of date footprint import that doesn't match best imagery?

Hey MatzeM,

Is there a reason this changeset is so large? I assume you might have done a cross-country trip and had auto-upload off on StreetComplete but just making sure.

Thanks,
Korgi1.

They should all be removed, most are junk in the middle of nowhere.

Hi JR450 thanks for adding even more information to the facility. I couldn't find any information about it moving to Ford Island when I looked online. What I'm more curious is is why did you add commercial landuse to the facility?

By the way, Mapbox provides better imagery here.

Alright no problem. It just showed up as "suspicious" due to profanity in the name.

That isn't how OSM operates. Those islands legally belong to Japan.

"Do not edit to change the status of these islands or revert edits doing so without first contacting the Data Working Group." Did you get permission from OSM/DWG for this changeset? OSM operates on territory mapped by the current owner not giving priority to those making claims.

Wikipedia tells me its an "unincorporated community" which are frankly the bane of OSM mapping. They are at most a hamlet and at worst a locality and not a proper "settlement" node.

is the name "Dick Ford Road" correct?
