Khaldoun Tabari is a serial entrepreneur and investor whose name has become synonymous with vision, innovation, and excellence in the Middle Eastern real estate sector. Over the years, he has helped shape some of the region’s most iconic developments, building a legacy defined by ambition and determination. His influence extends across the real estate, construction, and investment sectors, where his leadership has had a lasting impact on regional growth and progress.
After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a B.S. in Business Management and Engineering in 1973, Tabari joined his brothers at Ranya Trading & Contracting in the UAE. The business operated in the fields of electromechanical engineering, construction materials, and pharmaceuticals. He later moved to London, serving as Executive Director of Multiworld International, a general exporter of electrical materials and consumer products with offices in London, the UAE, and Washington, D.C.
Tabari’s entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of Tathniya (TEST) Electromechanical Contracting in Saudi Arabia in the mid-1980s, followed by the establishment of TEST Contracting in Dubai. His hard work, often exceeding fourteen hours a day, transformed these ventures into major companies that contributed to the modernization of the Middle East’s skyline. His ventures expanded into real estate and engineering projects that played a central role in regional urban development.
As Chairman of Vision Investments & Holdings Inc., a family-owned diversified holding company, Tabari provided strategic direction for investments across the MENA region, the GCC, Europe, and the United States. His ability to identify opportunities and take calculated risks drove the success of large-scale projects, such as luxury hotels, residential complexes, and infrastructure initiatives, that have reshaped major cities, including Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh.
Beyond real estate, Tabari’s leadership extended to more than twenty ventures, including Emcor Facilities Management ME, Thrifty Rent-A-Car in Jordan, and an apparel licensing partnership with Beverly Hills Polo Club across the Middle East. His philanthropic work through the Khaldoun Tabari Swiss Foundation focuses on advancing education, healthcare, and cultural preservation, particularly for Palestinian communities.
A Jordanian born in Jerusalem in 1950, Tabari attended Ramallah Friends High School before studying in the United States. Though he stepped down from official leadership in 2016, he remains active through his family office, continuing to inspire future generations through vision, resilience, and purposeful innovation.
