I do precise and meticulous mapping when I have the freetime. OSM has become a hobby for me as it is essentially maps, cities & roads, and technology — all of which match my interests! I think it is important to have a open-source map that can be be edited by the public, as I live in a isolated (but not remote) place, other big-tech-company maps don’t have good maps of my area, and then I discovered OSM. Here I have the freedom to make my area as detailed as I want!
