| 187532640 | Hello, address tags like addr:suburb, addr:postcode and addr:state are optional in Australia as we have various boundaries that provide this information to objects inside, such as relation/5928429 . iD isn't great at communicating this. Also, looks like you're doing a lot of mapping, looks great. If you have Discord, you might want to join the OSM server (discord.gg/openstreetmap), we have an #oceania channel in that server that is quite active. |

| 187527945 | I've mostly restored the original classifications for the frontage roads you changed, but added frontage_road=yes, based on the wiki + discussion in the #oceania Discord. osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Roads#Road_Hierarchy
I've also removed the "Whitehose Road Service Road" names you've added as it appears to be a descriptive name, or copied from another map. |

| 187527945 | Hello, how have you sourced the name "Whitehorse Road Service Lane"? |
|
| 163511847 | Hello, you included a Google Maps link in node/12655156268/history/1 - we can't use Google Streetview as their images are proprietary, please don't map based on their data. |

| 185694522 | The court hire website shows four tennis courts, and it seems like JJRAC also operates the three north ones in https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=884612078378020 Maybe all four tennis courts are operated by JJRAC, but the north three were assigned a separate land parcel as they may have been purchased / built separately? Minor detail though lol |

| 187315036 | Hey Peter, there's been some discussion on the Discord around this and we've landed on a syntax originally suggested by aharvey almost two years ago (https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/vicmap-address-import-progress/122863/7). You can see this on way/1548993047 - addr:flats is used instead of addr:unit to say "this range represents multiple addresses". This syntax then uses `addr:flats:level:<level>=<flats>` to say <flats> are located on <level>.

| 187315036 | > I wanted to put the addresses on the buildings. You still should, I only moved the building names. I meant you can also tag the housenumber and street on the landuse, keeping the unit + housenumber + street on the building. way/1548993728 > Do you have any suggestions with units that are above each other. I don't think there is currently a recommended way to tag this, I'll ask in the Discord. |
|
| 187315036 | Hello Peter W34, super cool how much you've been mapping lately! A few things with your recent changes: 1. the name of apartment complexes / "common property" for units should be tagged on a landuse, not each building. It is also common to then tag the housenumber and street on the landuse. I have fixed these in your recent changes, eg way/1271853188
Please let me know if you have any questions with this |

| 185694522 | Ah okay, I only ask as it seems unusual for a railway station to be assigned an address, and state data suggests that way/134365878 has this address instead. (it's a bit strange though, as there's only a land parcel for the north three tennis courts, not the south one) I can't find anything online that would suggest the railway station has a house number, but the tennis courts list 125 Lorne Street as their address on https://play.tennis.com.au/juneetennisclub - would it make more sense to put the address there? |
|
| 185694522 | How have you sourced the address "125 Lorne Street" on way/134365878 ? |

| 186638818 | I agree the wiki is quite confusing if you need to choose between a lowered or flush kerb. The wiki photos for kerb=flush are really zoomed in, and (in my opinion) makes it seem like its purely around how smooth the transition is, and whether a wheelchair would notice it. My understanding after checking a few kerbs with others in the OSM Discord recently is that if there is even a slight gradient from the road to the footpath it should be a lowered kerb. This is easy to identify based on whether the footpath is above the road, and there should be a raised kerb along the road that then lowers right at the crossing. kerb=flush is used when there is no height difference between the road and the footpath - not how smooth the transition is. I'm considering suggesting a mass edit that removes any kerb=flush that have been mapped by you and another user, so that: 1. other users don't think these kerbs are kerb=flush and 2. these kerbs will then be an "unknown kerb", and mappers can tag it as lowered kerb if it is clearly a ramp in aerial imagery, or StreetComplete users will be asked to check what type a kerb is if they're in the area. Do you have any thoughts on that? You can see a map of kerb=flush touched by you and another mapper here: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/2uBV |
