I spent decades GPSing places and trails and making free maps for Garmin GPSs. I gave them away at https://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/53/ I would go many places just to gather GPS data. I love making maps.

I got fed up with Garmin because they do not have any program that will display the free maps on a phone. Then I found OSMAnd and found a new home on OSM. It is so much easier in OSM! I have been adding my data and other public data I learned over the decades how to obtain and use for maps.
