Hello!

Welcome! I am a relatively younger mapper, and am physically based out of Western Washington in the United States of America.

Boring Notes:

• Most of my mapping activity is remotely done, and verified through aerial imagery. I will occasionally physically verify map features in person, but only occasionally.

• Most of my contributions are contained to the US (United States of America), though I may make relatively minor forays into international mapping as well.

• I have found that OSM generally is well established in US-metropolitan areas, but significantly lacks in Rural Areas. I like to focus on those under-documented areas.

• I primarily edit OSM in browser, or using RapID AI. I do occasionally make smaller edits through Organicmaps.

• I don’t particularly care for micro mapping, but recognize the effort of mappers that engage in that work, and the value that it adds.

• I fully believe and support efforts to develop the OSM community, but am somewhat cynical to some community building efforts.

• I will make mistakes, as we all will: Expressing anger as a consequence of circumstances beyond our control may be understandable, but often, another mistake.

Fun Facts:

• I am a engineer by trade, and think LORA communication devices, CFD, and CHT are really cool.

• I love cats.

• I like soccer/football and hikes, but am recovering from a sports injury and have a harder time getting out nowadays.
