From this point all the way to the west end of the fjord the old power line and wooden poles were removed.

New power connection installed in 2024 (transformer and underground cable to main power grid). Old power line to Heyklif was re-connected to this new point whilst the rest of poles and cable to the west from this point were removed.

The area has nothing to do with existing landscape and can't be describe as "bare rock" by any means. The whole feature should be removed because it includes very different formations - from the highest point of Kambanes at Kambahnúta hill (aka Hnútukollur) to flat meadows with diverse vegetation.

The closed gate on the Heyklif road. Road surface up to the gate is asphalt. After the gate - gravel.
Visitors are not allowed to drive pass the gate even if the gate is open.

Private property but you can park here to walk around property.

Wrong name/location. Breiðdalsvík town is further west in the fjord. This particular place called Heyklif.
