Nevienā likumā nav šādi teikts. Un pat, ja būtu, OSM kartē tikai to, kas faktiski eksistē nevis to, kam būtu jābūt. Es augstāk jau ieliku linku, kur CSN ir norādīts, kas ir un kas nav dzīvojamā zona. Un arī ieliku linkus gan vispārīgi gan konkrēti Latvijai, kur OSM skaidri nodala, kādus ceļus atzīmē kā dzīvojamo ielu. Ja nav dzīvojamās zonas zīmes, tad `highway=living_street` Latvijā neliek.

Tas, ko tu mini, CSN izpratnē ir "daudzdzīvokļu namu pagalms" un nav pats par sevi dzīvojamā zona, kaut arī tur ir gandrīz tie paši noteikumi. Jāņem vērā, ka OSM ir pasaules karte un "dzīvojamā zona" ir klasifikācija, kas sastopama daudzās valstīs, bet sakrītoši noteikumi tieši pagalmu ielām ir specifisks gadījums tieši Latvijai.

Diemžēl pašlaik nav formāli apstiprināts, kā Latvijā kartēt pagalmu ceļus izņemot kā `highway=service`. Es piekrītu, ka tā ir nepilnība datos. Iespējams, ka ļoti derētu kaut kāds `service=courtyard` uz tiem ceļiem vai kā tā, bet tas nav vēl pašlaik bijis apspriests un apstiprināts kopienā. (Šādu vai līdzīgu vērtību gan var lietot (un vēlāk nomainīt) arī tagad.)

Kā iepriekš par šo vietu jautāju - vai šeit ir kādas jaunas zīmes vai izmaiņas? `highway=living_street` nozīmē dzīvojamo zonu un to lieto tikai ceļiem, kas apzīmēti ar attiecīgo zilo 533. ceļa zīmi, jo tur attiecas īpaši noteikumi navigācijai. Gadu atpakaļ šeit zīmju vēl nebija.

Vai šim posmam way/831170641 tagad ir uzliktas veloceļa zīmes? Jo vēl augusta beigās nebija. Cik zinu, te vienmēr ir bijis iztrūkstošs posms.

`traffic_signals:direction` luksoforiem uz ceļiem tiek lietots, lai norādītu, kurš galvenais luksofors attiecas kuram braukšanas virzienam transportlīdzekļu un gājēju navigācijai. Ar to nenorāda atkārtotus un papildus luksoforus. Vērtība `both` vispār gandrīz nekad nevar būt, jo tas nozīmētu, ka no abām pusēm vienā vietā ir jāapstājas, bet pa vidu nekā nav. Divreiz iekartēti luksofori tad nozīmētu, ka šeit ir 2 reizes jāapstājas pie luksofora, kas tā noteikti nav, jo atkārtotie luksofori šeit strādā vienā ciklā.

Tad punkts ir jānomaina uz pareizām birkām, kā piemēram `amenity=events_venue` ( amenity=events_venue ) .

Pēc https://visit.jelgava.lv/lv/sv-trisvienibas-tornis/vestures-ekspozicijas skatoties, šeit ir arī ekspozīcijas/muzejs. Izskatās, ka šeit ir arī restorāns. Visticamāk, tie visi jānorāda kā atsevišķi punkti, lai tie ir gan datos, gan meklētājā. Bet dzēst gan šo punktu nevajadzēja, jo tagad nav palicis nekas un nosaukums vairs nav atrodams.

Luksoforiem kā node/7692597264 šādos krustojumos virziens nevar būt "both" abos virzienos, jo tas tad nozīmē, ka šeit braucot pa Raiņa ielu vai nogriežoties uz to ir 2 reizes luksofors. Gandrīz visiem individuāli kartētiem (ne krustojumā, kur virzienu nenorāda) luksoforiem Latvijā virziens būs tikai vienā virzienā.

Šeit ir izdzēsts muzeja punkts "Jelgavas Svētās Trīsvienības baznīcas tornis" node/1836412840/history . Internetā nekādas ziņas par tā slēgšanu neredzu. Kas tieši šeit ir mainījies?

As mentioned before, please do not change minor roads into driveways if they are within cadastral road lines and not through private property and access multiple properties, such as way/1271489614 . If you don't believe the cadaster is correct and this should be classified differently, then please explain this properly for each case, instead of "wrong tags".

As mentioned before, please don't set invalid access values in public cemeteries - there are not legal restrictions in Spriņģu kapi.

The 8th cycle of LĢIA/LVM aerial is now available for East Latvia from 2024 (and middle Latvia from 2023 since last year). But you have to register and sign a license individually to get (proper) access. Šeit jau bija norādīts `alt_name=Aknīstes pilskalns`. Divus nosaukumus iekš `name` nenorāda. Ja pamata/galvenais nosaukums ir "Aknīstes", tad tos var apmainīt vietām.

The issue is that you are conflating what OSM records and what is "official". OSM is a global geospatial database and while it generally records what is official locally, that doesn't imply that OSM won't map something if it's not official. OSM maps what is "on the ground".[1] So, as in this example, OSM records names if they are shown to exist even conceptually. It doesn't have to be part of VZD address data, nor any Council documents, nor official square designation, nor UNESCO plans, etc. - it just has to verifiably exist.[2] Similarly, a "square" in OSM is not defined based on local designations, but what is there on the ground - broadly, an urban paved area with various urban features around some buildings. You may be used to maps like LĢIA official data layers and Jāņa sēta renders and even Google/Apple maps that gather their data from primarily official sources. But OSM is not limited to that, which is the whole point of OSM - to be an open map that isn't restricted like that. OSM is often much more detailed and record many more features and data about them. For example, just the name tagging itself has dozens of variants.[3] In general, OSM maps what is correct rather than what may or may not appear when rendered on some map.[4]

Your reply is quite long and you touch upon a lot of different concepts, so I cannot really reply to every point. For example, features that are part of UNESCO would be recorded as heritage tagging scheme[5] as UNESCO sites, VKPAI sites, etc. You wouldn't judge what is or isn't a heritage site or location (or name) based on what some particular map renders, but whether it is tagged as heritage site and associated with a particular heritage-tracking body. The same argument applies to all the other points - having a name is not limited to any particular source or feature.

In any case, this name can be easily verified as used by sources. This isn't even the typical case where we can't find any mentions. This is more than enough to include the name.

Please do not add tags to existing area elements like this that contain more than just grass within them. Here, it's obviously dozens of buildings, roads, footways and much more.

Please don't change landuse=grass into natural=grassland. Grassland is wild grass normally outside urban environments that isn't regularly mowed and maintained. There is almost never grassland like that in places like this. Almost all grassy areas here are maintained and part of urban properties.

You have again mass-deleted dozens of existing features (ditches, landuse, trees, etc.) mapped by others and replaced with many incorrectly-tagged features instead. I have reverted your edit since you are ignoring requests to stop doing this. You can restore your changes *without* deleting existing elements and tagging everything correctly.
