Stane Gardens
A nice architectural landscape gardens with hills and two bridges and the South Calder Water river runs beneath the bridges. The first bridge is an arch-way bridge and the other is flat walk way. Good footpaths for a walk and once at the top of the hill near the football pitch, there is a stunning view of Dykehead in the distance. Good football pitch with an Astroturf ground.
Warning the stane gardens is notorious for illegal antisocial activities like illegal drinking, graffitiing council property, destroying council property like plants and fences and arson because the flat walk bridge has been deliberately set on fire. This is another standing spot for Neds and the SYT (Shotts Young Team).
